What are the next steps after I submit an application?
Confirm Interest & Schedule Assessment
Our Admissions Director will confirm your interest in enrolling and schedule a placement assessment. The application fee covers testing, application paperwork.
Placement Testing
All new students entering first grade and above participate in placement testing. Testing typically takes 60–120 minutes and helps our teachers identify the grade in which each student will be most successful.
Family Interview
Families participate in a family interview with administration. This allows us to discuss the family’s ability to support co-teaching at home, alignment with our classical education philosophy, educational priorities, and the family’s application documents. It also ensures a good fit between Highlands Latin School and prospective families.
