What are the next steps after I submit an application?

Confirm Interest & Schedule Assessment

Our Admissions Director will confirm your interest in enrolling and schedule a placement assessment. At this time, the non-refundable application & assessment fee is due, which covers testing, application paperwork, and the registration fee to reserve your child’s spot.

Placement Testing

All new students participate in placement testing to determine their academic and behavioral readiness for our program. Testing typically takes 60–120 minutes and helps our teachers identify the grade in which each student will be most successful.

Family Interview

Families participate in a family interview with administration. This allows us to discuss the family’s ability to support co-teaching, alignment with our classical education philosophy, educational priorities, and the family’s application documents. It also ensures a good fit between Highlands Latin School and prospective families.
